Physical Therapist

I was born in Guanajuato, Mexico, and moved to Colorado with my family when I was 3. I grew up in the Aurora/Denver area and first became interested in physical therapy through martial arts like jiu-jitsu, kickboxing, and wrestling, where I saw firsthand the injuries athletes dealt with and the impact proper care could have. This inspired me to pursue a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science at MSU Denver and ultimately a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus where I could stay in Colorado and give back to the community.

One thing I want to address for patients is making sure they feel truly heard and supported. I’ve seen how frustrating it can be when they are dismissed or given generic treatment plans, and I want to change that. My goal is to provide care that is evidence-based but also highly individualized, tailored to each patient’s specific needs, goals, and lifestyle. As a direct-access provider, I also want to help patients navigate the healthcare system, including understanding insurance and their options, so they feel empowered in their care.

When not working I spend time outdoors mountain biking, fishing, skiing, and playing spikeball. I also love watching sports, especially mixed martial arts and football.
