Yessi Frias

Office Manager

I grew up in the Roaring Fork Valley and graduated from Glenwood Springs High School in 2022. I grew up work with my dad in his tile installation business and with my mom in her flower arrangement business. Now I am currently in the process of going back to school to further my education in the medical field. With the help of my peers, as well as my work team I hope to continue to grow.

I am happy to be part of a team that can meet patients where they are and guide them toward recovery. We see many patients who have had issues with communication with their providers due to language barriers and this is one issue we are happy to address as all our staff are fluent in Spanish and English.

As the office manager, my goal is to address any and all concerns from patients and our staff at Beyond Borders Physical Therapy. I work closely with patients to ensure proper scheduling and plan of care coordination, in order to ensure the highest likelihood of success and recovery! I also find joy in helping with small tasks such as taking care of our plant babies, keeping our clinic clean and collaborating with Dr. Jorge and Vanesa.

Working at Beyond Borders Physical Therapy has helped open up many new opportunities for me. I love being able to see the progress and change in our patient’s lives as they progress with their care plans. I also enjoy the collaboration inside and outside of our clinic. Whether it be Dr. Jorge and Vanesa collaborating with a patient or connecting patients to outside resources such as mental health services, nutrition services or primary care. Our team at Beyond Borders always takes our patients’ well being as the highest priority, in order to get them back to living their best life. Working with a team that supports me when needed is all I could ask for.

When I am not working I enjoy spending as much time as possible with my family and friends. We love going to the lake, camping, hiking, etc. Anything that involves exploring the outdoors. I also love being a homebody, there’s nothing like snuggling up with a comfy blanket and my chihuahua and watching a good show/movie. I love learning new things, meeting new people, and exploring new places. Making new memories is very important to me as well as enjoying the moment whenever possible. We humans have such crazy schedules sometimes that we forget to take care of ourselves. So I try to continue to make time for the things I enjoy doing with the people I love around me.
